Citrus 'Bush Cocktail'

Citrus limon 'Meyeri' x Citrofortunella floridana 'Lakeland', also known as Bush Cocktail, is slightly cold-tolerant, disease-resistant, compact container plant featuring a grafted Meyer Lemon and Limequat on one shrub. They generally reach 4–8 ft in height and width. These plants are a great addition to patios, backyards, and do well in pots. They offer year-round, fragrant blooms and fruit. These need to be covered or overwinter indoors when our Charleston temps reach below 40 degrees.

Bush Cocktail requires full sun (6+ hours) for optimal foliage and fruit production.

For established potted cocktail citrus, watering 1-2 times per week is generally sufficient, increasing to 3 times during extreme heat or dry winds. Deep soak the root ball until water drains from the bottom of the container. Using a well-draining potting mix and allow the top 2-3 inches of soil to dry out between waterings to prevent root rot.

Water more frequently during summer heat (every 1-3 days for pots) and less during cooler, rainy seasons (every 7-10 days).
