Lantana 'Trailing White'

Lantana montevidensis, also known as Trailing Lantana, is a perennial, small, broadleaf trailing shrub, native to parts of the Untied States as well as tropical South America. The showy flowers appear from midsummer until the first frost and attract butterflies, hummingbirds and other pollinators. It is known for its salt tolerance and will flourish in the warm coastal areas of South Carolina. Trailing Lantana can be used as a climbing vine with support, or as a trailer or grown flat as a groundcover. It can also be used as erosion control on a slope or bank. This plant does grow quickly and aggressively, so plan its location accordingly.

This plant needs full sun (6+ hours) for optimal blooming. It can tolerate partial shade, but will have less blooms and leggy growth. 

While the plant is establishing, water deeply about once a week and let the top two inches of soil dry out between waterings. Once the plant is established it becomes highly drought-tolerant. 

The sap from this plant may cause slight skin irritation if not wearing gloves.
