Canna Lily 'Bengal Tiger Orange'
Canna generalis 'Bengal Tiger', also known as a Bengal Tiger Canna Lily, is a herbaceous perennial in the Cannaceae family native to the tropical and subtropical regions of North and South America, as well as India. They have large colorful flowers and tropical appearing foliage. They can tolerate some standing water or drought once they are established. They have a high heat tolerance, but they are prone to wind damage. In warmer zones, the rhizomes may be left in the soil to over winter. After the first frost, cut the foliage down to the ground and cover with available mulch. Their striking and brightly colored flowers make them an excellent choice for a border grouping, and their tropical feel works well in pool-side landscaping.

Available in 3 GalCanna Lily prefers sunlight to light shade—though they can grow in light shade, they will not flower in deep shade. Morning sun and light afternoon shade is best.
Canna lilies require high, consistent moisture and thrive in damp, bog-like, or well-draining soil. They need roughly 1–2 inches of water per week, ideally watered deeply 1–2 times per week, or daily during hot, dry periods. Keep soil consistently moist, but avoid waterlogged conditions.
When winter months come, you'll need to prune back the foliage. We recommend Bond Bypass Pruners.
Your plant needs food too! We recommend Espoma Flower Tone.
