Lavender 'Spanish': Primavera

This plant requires full sun (6+ hours) to thrive and bloom. It performs best in hot, dry, sunny conditions. Inadequate light will cause poor blooming and weak growth. 

This plant requires low, infrequent watering once established, as it is highly drought-tolerant. Water young plants weekly during their first season to establish roots. Reduce watering to only when the soil is completely dry. Overwatering causes root rot, so ensuring excellent drainage is essential.

Prune twice yearly—after the first spring bloom and again in late summer/ fall—by cutting back the green, leafy stems by to maintain a compact, mounded shape.
