Caryota ‘Fishtail’ Palm

Outside, Fishtail Palms can thrive in light conditions from full sun to deep shade, requiring only that its soil be well-drained and reasonably fertile.

 

Grown indoors, this plant likes plenty of bright, indirect light. 

Not too dry or too wet, this plant likes consistently moist soil.

Spider mites and scale can be a serious problem for this plant, especially when grown indoors. We suggest using Bonide Neem Oil to treat and prevent.

 

For regular fertilizing, we suggest Espoma Palm Tone.
