Spathiphyllum 'Peace Lily': Sensation
Spathiphyllum wallisii 'Sensation', also known as a Peace Lily Sensation, is a large and dramatic hybrid which was bred from native species found in Mexico, tropical America, Malesia and islands of the western Pacific. They enjoy warm conditions between 68 and 85 degrees F during the day and no more than a 10-degree drop at night. Cold and drafty conditions, specifically temperatures of 40 to 60 degrees F, will slow growth considerably.
Sold Individually
Available in 8", 10", 14"Growing outdoors in our Charleston climate, Peace Lilies prefer partial to deep shade. Do not place plant in direct sun.
Growing indoors, this plant needs bright, indirect light to thrive and bloom. While the plant tolerates low light and can survive in shadier areas, this may result in slower growth and reduced flowering.
Peace Lily 'Sensation' requires the soil to be kept consistently moist but not soggy, and it will signal its thirst by drooping its leaves. Water when the top few inches of soil feel dry, using filtered, room-temperature water to avoid chemical sensitivities from tap water. Allow for good drainage and do not let the pot sit in standing water.
This plant is sensitive to flouride.
Because of its bloom production, we suggest Espoma Flower Tone.
