Ficus 'Rubber Tree': Ruby

Ficus elastica 'Ruby', also known as the Ruby Rubber Tree, is known for its variegated leaves—often a muted green coloring with coral-pink hues on the edges and underside of the leaf. It features it's signature thick "rubber-like" leaves. This plant can grow 6-10 ft tall indoors with proper care.

This plant requires bright indirect light—not enough sunlight and it will loose its variegation and become leggy.

Water deeply and thoroughly—the soil should be allowed to become fairly dry between waterings, especially in containers. Rubber tree makes a nice house plant if it is not over-watered.
