Snake plants have low water requirements and prefer the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water thoroughly until water drains from the pot, then allow the soil to dry out completely before watering again to prevent root rot. Check soil moisture—by feel or with a moisture meter deep into the soil, or by the pot's weight, and only water when the soil feels completely dry.
Spring/ Summer/ Fall:
Every 2-6 weeks in the summer and even less in the winter.Winter:
Once a month or even less.To keep an eye on moisture levels, we suggest Jungle Club Moisture Meter.
Keep your leaves clean for optimal photosynthesis with Houseplant Cleaning Wipes or Leaf Cleaning Gloves.
Your indoor plants need food to live! We suggest Jungle Club House Plant Fertilizer, Arber Plant Food, or Grow Organic Plant Food Concentrate.
Use a balanced liquid fertilizer with an NPK ratio like 10-10-10 during the spring and summer growing season, diluting it to half strength to prevent root burn, especially when starting out. Apply fertilizer only once in spring and again in mid-summer, and do not fertilize in the winter, as snake plants are slow-growing and have low nutrient needs.
Proper nutrition is important to the health of your plant and its longevity. To ensure your plant is getting the appropriate nutrition, use a fertilizer labelled for the needs of this plant and apply according to the label.
