Ficus 'Rubber Tree': Shivereana

Ficus elastica, also known as the Rubber Tree. This particular variety, Shivereana or 'Moonshine', hails from Southeast Asia and grows with bright dappling on it's signature thick "rubber-like" leaves. This plant can grow 6-10 ft tall indoors with proper care and ideal growing conditions.

This plant requires full sun to partial shade—not enough sunlight and it will become leggy.

Water deeply and thoroughly—the soil should be allowed to become fairly dry between waterings, especially in containers. Rubber tree makes a nice house plant if it is not over-watered.
