Blechnum 'Silver Lady' Fern
Blechnum gibbum, also known as a Silver Lady Fern is a dwarf tree fern with bright green fronds that grow upright before arching and cascading down. Native to rainforests in the South-West Pacific region, it enjoys warm, humid weather, consistent moisture and shade cast from taller plants above. This plant will most likely stay 3-4 ft tall and grows well in containers. It can be brought indoors for winter to be enjoyed as a houseplant.
Sold Individually
Available in 6", 8"If grown indoors, this fern does best with bright, indirect light to medium light. You can use a sheer curtain to block harsh rays. If grown outdoors, keep this plant in partial shade to full shade, mimicking the dappled canopy of trees. Too much shade and the rosette will become weak.
This plant requires consistently moist, well-draining soil and should never be allowed to dry out completely nor be left in standing water.
Your plant needs food too! We recommend Osmocote Outdoor: Indoor Plant Food.
