Hydrangea: Early Blue

Originating from the Big Leaf Hydrangeas, this Early Blue variety is a short term florist hydrangea, perfect for garden parties and gatherings. Treated like an annual, these are not recommended for landscape planting but seasonal potted planting instead. The vibrant blue color comes from the acidity in the soil, versus it's pink variety which has a more alkaline soil.
