Euphorbia 'White Ghost' Cactus

Euphorbia lactea vareigata, also known as the White Ghost Cactus, is a usually leafless and cactus-like succulent. It can grow to a height of 15 ft in ideal growing conditions, but is typically maintained as a 1-2 ft houseplant. It is native to Sri Lanka.

This plant requires bright, indirect light for several hours a day. Avoid intense scorching sun which can burn its delicate white variegation.

Provide deep but infrequent watering, allowing the soil to dry completely between sessions. 

Spring/ Summer
Water every 2-3 weeks or when the top few inches of soil feel dry. 

Fall/ Winter
Water once a month, if that. Reduce watering significantly, as the plant is dormant and prone to root rot if overwatered.
