Alocasia 'Polly'

Alocasia amazonica 'Polly', is a cultivar characterized by its showy dark face with light veining. It is a hybrid developed in Florida in the 1950's, it's parent plants however, hail from the tropical forests of Southeast Asia, southern China, and the Philippines.

Provide bright, indirect light. Direct sun can burn the leaves.

Keep the soil moist but not soggy. Water when the top inch or two of soil feels dry. Reduce watering frequency in the winter. This plant thrives in high humidity. To increase humidity, you can mist it, use a pebble tray, or place it in a humid room like a bathroom.
