Aloe 'Hedgehog'

This plant requires full sun (6+ hours) daily to maintain its compact shape and vibrant color. It can tolerate partial shade, but too little light causes stretching, while intense, direct, hot summer sun may cause leaf scorching.

This plant requires low, infrequent watering, needing a deep soak only when the soil has completely dried out. Water every 10–14 days in spring/summer (more or less due to our rainy/ hot Charleston weather) and reduce to roughly once a month in fall/winter. Overwatering can cause root rot.

Always ensure fast-draining, succulent-appropriate soil. We suggest Espoma Cactus Mix Or Rosy Soil Organic Cactus & Succulent Mix. 

This plant requires minimal fertilizer, generally benefiting from a balanced, water-soluble, or succulent-specific fertilizer diluted to half-strength. Feed once every 4–6 weeks during the active spring and summer growing season, and avoid fertilizing during dormant winter months. We recommend Espoma Cactus Liquid Plant Food.
