Citrus 'Lemon': Meyer

PriceFrom $35.00
  • Citrus x limon, also known as the Meyer Lemon, is thought to be a cross between a lemon and a sweet orange, brought from China in 1908 by USDA agricultural explorer Frank Meyer. The rich orange-yellow Meyer lemon fruits provide a sweeter alternative to common lemons while bringing color and interest to your home or garden. Self pollinating.

As it cannot survive frosts, the Meyer lemon is best grown in a container so that it can be brought inside for the winter in zones below 8b or 9a.
