Trachycarpus ‘Windmill’ Palm

Typically this palm prefers full sun, but since we are located in the Lowcountry, this palm would prefer a balanced amount of part sun/ part shade lighting. 

The Windmill Palm needs water when the top 2 to 3 inches of soil are dry to the touch.

Watering frequency varies from a few times a week for newly planted palms to once or twice weekly for established plants—depending on the weather.

Water deeply, allowing the soil to become moist but not waterlogged, and avoid letting the soil dry out completely, especially in hot weather or if the plant is in a container.
