Sansevieria 'Snake Plant': Wintergreen

Snake Plants can withstand low light conditions, however they do best in medium to bright indirect light.

Snake plants have low water requirements and prefer the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water thoroughly until water drains from the pot, then allow the soil to dry out completely before watering again to prevent root rot. Check soil moisture—by feel or with a moisture meter deep into the soil, or by the pot's weight, and only water when the soil feels completely dry.

Your indoor plants need food to live! We suggest Leafy Plant Food or Grow Organic Plant Food Concentrate.

Use a balanced liquid fertilizer with an NPK ratio like 10-10-10 during the spring and summer growing season, diluting it to half strength to prevent root burn, especially when starting out. Apply fertilizer only once in spring and again in mid-summer, and do not fertilize in the winter, as snake plants are slow-growing and have low nutrient needs.
