Cocos ‘Coconut’ Palm

This palm requires full sun, needing at least six hours of direct sunlight daily for healthy growth and production.

Coconut Palms require consistent moisture but hate soggy roots, needing well-draining, sandy soil to prevent root rot and lethal yellowing. 

Newly transplanted palms need about one inch of water weekly. Water frequently, about once a week, for the first year. For established palms, water when the top few inches of soil start to dry, ensuring the soil is moist but not waterlogged.
