Gaillardia 'Blanket Flower': Spintop Copper Sun
Gaillardia aristata 'SpinTop Copper Sun', also known as a Blanket Flower, is a herbaceous perennial featuring warm reds, yellows, and orange flowers that mature and can become semi-double. This plant has a mounding growing habit with the flowers sitting just above the foliage. It blooms from late spring into fall—thriving in our Charleston sun and heat. It is deer and rabbit resistant, and is an excellent source for attracting pollinators to your garden.

Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to help it establish its roots system. Once the plant is established, continue to water deeply, but reduce frequency. It can tolerate periodic drought.
Remove spent blooms during the growing season to encourage profuse flowering. In early spring, cut the plant 3" back to the ground. We recommend Barebones Garden Scissors.
We recommend feeding this plant sparingly.
