Aspidistra 'Cast Iron'

This plant thrives outdoors in partial to deep shade, making them excellent for shaded landscapes, under trees, or on covered patios. They are highly adaptable to low-light conditions but must be kept out of direct sunlight, which causes leaf scorch and bleaching.

Watering every 1–2 weeks, allowing the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings. They are highly drought-tolerant but prefer consistently moist, well-draining soil. They need more frequent water in our hot Charleston summer (2–3 times/ week) and should be kept drier in winter.
