Spring Plant & Pot Pairings in Charleston

Charleston is in full bloom this May and we're excited to get planting together! We’ve restocked to front patio with new containers ranging from modern designs to classic styles in shades of terra cotta to bold blues. Let us help you find the perfect pot and plant pairing to fit your needs this season! 

New pots and what we'd plant in them this spring:

The Vicolo collection and olive trees just make sense! We're manifesting a Mediterranean summer with silvery green foliage and pots in distressed shades of blue and teal. This perfect pair will transport you to an island oasis! Add white flowers and trailing sedum to the design for a lush look.

Our custom green containers are dark and moody, so pair them with a bright pencil cactus! The dark green pots come in multiple shapes, sizes, and patterns. So wether you opt for round with ridges or straight rectangle lines, this sculptural cactus adds the sunniest pop of yellow!

Pro tip - use fire stick pencil cactus for pops of orange in your plant and pot pairing!

White glazed planters are the perfect base to get creative! We're adding funky color and shape with topiaries! Lavender topiaries are our go-to spring decor and evergreen cones, spirals, and balls are classics for a sunny front porch.

Blue hues deserve pink flowers; we don't make the rules! We're pairing pink oleander with our sleek blue planters this spring season for fun and colorful container combos! Oleander are drought tolerant and bloom all summer long, making them ideal picks for your new blue pots.

Pro tip - oleander are also salt tolerant! they are great additions to any sunny Charleston garden!

Terra cotta and Antico terra cotta win best all around when it comes to plant and pot pairings! This perfect garden neutral compliments any plant, but this spring we're potting citrus, grasses, pollinators, and shrubs in our new terra cotta line!
