Schismatoglottis sp. 'Borneo Silver' is a compact slow-growing tropical perennial from Borneo, Southeast Asia. This plant features striking velvety green leaves imitating silver brushstroke-like patterns.

These plants thrive in bright, indirect light, closely mimicking their native filtered tropical forest canopy environment. They require 2–6 hours of partial, non-harsh light daily, with east or west-facing windows being ideal to avoid leaf scorch from direct sun. 

This plant requires consistently moist soil with waterings prompted when the top .5-1 in is dry. It thrives in high humidity (60–80%) and needs to avoid completely drying out or sitting in waterlogged soil to prevent root rot. Misting the leaves and using a pebble tray is ideal for this plant.
