This tree requires full sun (6-8 hours) a day.

When planted and establishing it's roots, water deeply 2–3 times per week during the first 6 months to encourage deep root growth. Use slow, deep soaking methods rather than light, surface-level watering.

Once established, water when the top 3 inches of soil are dry. During hot, dry, or drought conditions, increase frequency to prevent leaf drop. This tree requires well-drained soil; excessive water can cause root rot.

Mulching: Apply mulch to conserve moisture, keeping it away from the trunk. Mulching: Apply 2–4 inches of mulch around the base (but not touching the trunk) to retain moisture and keep roots cool.
